Jeffrey Gee Chin grew up in Marin County. His mission is to share the untold stories of immigrant pioneers who came to the United States in the early 20th Century.

In 2012, he completed his first narrative short film Lil Tokyo Reporter (2012) which stars Academy Award-Winner Chris Tashima as Civil Rights Leader Sei Fujii. The film has won over 21 awards and screened with the U.S. State Department in Seoul, Guangzhou, and Beijing.

Jeffrey edited an Emmy-Nominated SFGovTv episode and completed a feature film adaptation of James Franco’s Actors Anonymous (2017) as a 2nd-Unit Director and Visual Effects Supervisor.

Currently, Jeffrey is developing several long-form productions that will be announced shortly.
